Aimersoft DVD Converter Suite is a complete DVD ripping and video conversion set of tools.
It includes DVD Ripper, an application that lets you extract movies from your DVD collection to different formats, it allows you to trim clips from the movie, and merge various chapters.
The second tool included lets you convert video in your hard drive between many different formats including MP4, AVI, MPG, MPEG, VOB, WMV, XviD, MOV, DAT, VOB, IFO, 3GP, 3GPP, ASF, FLV, WMA, M4A, MP3, AC3, WAV. It supports batch conversion and multi threading.
Both tools include a nice video editor for the output where you can select a clip or segment, crop the screen, configure brightness, contrast and saturation, add effects like gray, emboss, old film, or a watermark.
Output of this tools can be played on portable devices such as iPod, iPhone, Apple TV, PSP, PS3, Mobile Phones, Zen Players, iRiver, Zune.
If you are looking for a complete solution to let you extract DVD movies and convert video for different applications, this is as good as it gets. It has a nice graphic interface, many features, editing functions and the price is good. If you want to test this software, a free limited trial is available for download.
